The ceramics workshop and kiln supplement the offer of the House of Latvian Traditions and Crafts. Here, pupils and adults can take an educational tour, listen to a lecture on the process and techniques of pottery making, learn about the different types of clay, and watch a ceramics demonstration.
Visitors can take part in creative classes and learn how to make their own clay objects using different techniques, allowing themselves to be both creative and emotional when working with clay.
Excursions and workshops are available in Latvian and English.
The folk costumes of Latvia’s regions, as well as their accessories, can be purchased both on the spot and by placing an order.
